The concern comes before the product.
Dryness, fine crepey texture and a hollow-looking area can appear together, but they are different concerns. Understanding which change matters most helps a clinician explain the options.
Structure and skin quality.
Dermal fillers are used to add support, volume or definition in a selected area. Skin-booster formulations are intended to address aspects of skin hydration and quality. The product, dose and placement differ.
Neither is suitable for every concern. Your clinician should name the proposed product, explain its purpose and discuss both common and serious risks.
A personal plan.
Ask how much change is realistic, whether appointments should be staged and how the response will be reviewed. A larger quantity or a more extensive course does not automatically make the plan more suitable.
