Pigmentation also needs a diagnosis. Melasma, sun spots and post-inflammatory changes do not all respond to the same treatment, and some lesions should be referred for further assessment.

Can you treat active acne and scars together?
The order of treatment matters. Active inflammation is usually addressed before intensive scar procedures are considered.
Do all pigmentation concerns need a laser?
No. Skincare, prescription treatment, peels or Cosmelan may be more appropriate for some diagnoses.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. Your medical history, concerns and suitability are assessed before treatment is agreed. We explain the options, risks, recovery and total cost so you can make an informed decision.
