RF microneedling
Refine texture. Support your skin.
Microneedling and radiofrequency, brought together in a carefully selected skin treatment.

Understanding your treatment
A plan shaped
around you.
Fine needles deliver radiofrequency energy at an assessed depth. The combination creates controlled mechanical and thermal stimulation, with the aim of improving selected concerns about texture, scars and laxity.
Needle depth, energy and treatment area are selected after consultation. The face, neck and body require different settings; the plan includes numbing, a recovery window and review of the response.
At a glance.
- Appointment
- Allow 45–90 minutes including numbing; varies by area
- Comfort measures

Redness, swelling, infection, pigment change; burns, scars or fat loss can occur.

An educational skin timeline
How skin structure
changes with time.
Ageing skin is influenced by genetics, UV exposure, smoking, hormones, health and skincare. Choose an age, hormonal stage and main goal to see a proportionate order for consultation.
This is a conceptual population trend, not a personal measurement. It cannot measure your collagen or elastin, diagnose skin or prescribe treatment.
Direction and timing vary. Photoageing can also create abnormal elastin accumulation, so “more elastin” does not necessarily mean healthier function.

GMC 7978522 ↗Your questions, answered
Your questions.
Clear answers.
Is it the same as ordinary microneedling?
No. Radiofrequency adds thermal energy to the needle treatment. This changes both the intended effect and the risks, so settings and suitability matter.
How many sessions will I need?
A course may be recommended, but the number and intervals depend on the concern, treatment intensity and your response.
Can all skin tones be treated?
Skin tone is one part of the assessment. The clinician considers your pigment-change risk, medical history and the proposed settings before advising.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. Your medical history, concerns and suitability are assessed before treatment is agreed. We explain the options, risks, recovery and total cost so you can make an informed decision.
