Begin with what matters to you.
You do not need to arrive with a treatment name. Describe the changes you have noticed, what bothers you and the kind of result you hope for. A useful consultation makes space for your priorities and your questions.
Bring a list of medicines, supplements, allergies and previous aesthetic procedures. Photographs of your current skincare can also help.
Understand the recommendation.
Ask why an option is being suggested, what alternatives exist and what happens if you choose no treatment. Discuss the likely result, the number of appointments, recovery and the total cost.
Skin imaging can provide a useful shared reference, but your medical history and clinical examination remain part of the assessment.
Take the time you need.
A consultation should help you make an informed decision. You can ask for further information or take time to think. Before any procedure, make sure you know who to contact about aftercare and what to do if something concerns you.
